We, the San Gabriel Band of Mission Indians Gabrieleno/Tongva, the historical tribe and First People of Los Angeles, reach out for your support in the wake of devastating fires that have ravaged our ancestral lands and deeply impacted our community. These fires have not only displaced many people but have also threatened the delicate balance of the land we have stewarded  for generations. As the original caretakers of this land, we possess the traditional ecological knowledge necessary to restore harmony and ensure proper land care.

Your generous contributions will help us provide immediate relief to those affected, support Native firefighters that came to our lands to protect Tongva land, protect our cultural practices, Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) education and rebuild the land that has been a source of life for us all.
